There was a time in the early 2000s when this style of vintage vending machine (often fully restored) regularly sold at auction for $1,000-$2,000. In part, the allure was their sleek attractive design, in part it was the combo element of baseball cards AND exhibit cards. Offered is a refurbished example (56" tall, 12" wide, 14" deep) that might well be valued in that same upper echelon, however the included key does not open the inner sanctum, nor do the coin mechanisms function as they should. Despite being inoperable, it remains an impressive display piece and conversation starter, in EX condition overall except for staining on the advertising sheets and a ding on the top side edge. Featured in the lower display are 1947-1966 Exhibits of Ford and Hodges.
