Description

Revenge was sweet for the Cards after losing the previous year's World Series to the A's. Now they won over the Mackmen in 7 games, riding on the back of rookie Pepper Martin, the Wild Horse of the Osage, who batted .500 with 1 HR, 4 doubles and 5 stolen bases. This lightly soiled, creamy ONL (Heydler) ball features 20-plus signatures averaging "2-5" w/Frisch ("3-4"), Hafey (2 - one clubhouse), Bottomley ("2"), Grimes, Martin, Derringer, Street, Gelbert, Hallahan, Lindsey, Stout, Collins, Wares, Rhem, Roettger, Orsatti, Gonzalez (clubhouse), Wilson (clubhouse), Adams (clubhouse), Flowers (clubhouse) and a few others too light to read. Full LOA from JSA.
