"Last Ball In Game at Philadelphia," reads the period notation. "May 7th 1925. In Which Giants Made 9 Runs In 9th Inning To Win Game 11 to 8. Phila. Pitchers Ring, Decatur, Couch & Pierce. 9 Straight Hits." What a thriller this game was! Billy Southworth and Ross Youngs combined for 8 of the Giants' 22 hits. Pinch hitter Hack Wilson added a clutch 3-run homer. The scuffed, soiled, darkly toned ONL (Heydler) ball features 18 signatures averaging "2-7" w/Jennings ("4-5"), Southworth, Kelly, Frisch, Lindstrom, Jackson, Terry, Nehf, Scott, Meusel, Greenfield, Huntzinger, Wisner, Groh, Hartley, Devine, Gowdy and one other. Full LOA from JSA.
