Detailed description on our website.

Any discussion about the greatest baseball team of all-time starts with the 1927 New York Yankees, however no discussion is needed regarding the importance of this pair of seldom seen autographs. Fill in some vital gaps in your ‘27 Yankees collection with these signed GPCs featuring outfielder Ben Paschal (d.1974) and coach Art Fletcher (d.1950).

Premier bench player Paschal was a lifetime .309 hitter relegated to back-up service as a member of the celebrated “Murderer’s Row” squad, which fielded a starting outfield of “Babe” Ruth, Earle Combs and Bob Meusel. Paschal’s (“8-9”) strength autograph appears with a “Best of Luck” salutation on a GPC postmarked “1951”. Baseball lifer Fletcher’s signature shows equally potent (“8-9”) quality on a GPC postmarked “1942”. Both 3-1/4 x 5-1/2” cards are sturdy and evenly toned to a warm cream. Auction LOA from JSA.
