This wonderful pen-and-ink tribute is signed by the artist "Piszarof," and its 10 x 12-1/2" visible area rates apparent NM within a 15x17 matted-and-framed presentation. The text reads, "THE HUSKY YANKEE STAR HAS A BATTING AVERAGE OF .340 IN THE RECORD STRING STARTED ON JUNE 1, 1925...WHEN IRON MAN, COLUMBIA LOU GEHRIG, PLAYED IN HIS 1,308TH SUCCESSIVE GAME HE BROKE THE OLD MARK HELD BY EVERETT SCOTT, FORMER YANKEE INFIELDER, OF 1,307 STRAIGHT CONTESTS."
