Detailed description on our website.
Animation artist Virgil Ross (d.1996) entertained generations of movie goers and television watchers with countless classic Looney Tunes illustrations. His prime work centered on that "Oscar-winning rabbit Bugs Bunny”. Capture some magical ‘toon history with this original color sketch display. Professionally framed and matted to overall dimensions of 22x20 is an approximate 12x10 three-character scene featuring Bugs, the Mad Scientist and his henchman monster Gossamer (aka Rudolph). Bestowed with a green lightbulb-shaped head, the Scientist parodied Boris Karloff in the 1950 cartoon short “Water Water Every Hare”, while interesting monster Gossamer pursued our hero rabbit only to be reduced to the size of a mouse when Bugs poured reducing oil on him. Signed by artist Ross, this fantastic original artwork displays in excellent condition with deference to some fold lines at lower left that do not affect the depicted characters. Make like Bugs and “think fast rabbit” to take home this timeless treasure. That’s all folks!
