Description

Detailed description on our website.

One of the perks of being an outstanding professional athlete is that if you’re truly great they make statues of you. There's no denying Warren Spahn’s greatness. One baseball’s all-time winningest pitchers, “Spahnie” dominated NL hitters for two decades and sure enough he wound up in the prized Hartland Plastics statue series. Make your best pitch for this 1958-1962 Spahn Hartland statue with original factory box, tag and catalog brochure. This gleaming figure boasts an overall like-new appearance with a clean, white uniform and full paint job. One of Hartland’s 1958 first class of baseball figures, this stunning Spahn example stands freely and easily. The color box shows approximate EX details with deference to two of the top flaps being cleanly detached but present and repairable. Otherwise it is an attractive better grade example with an age-appropriate appearance. The 2” diameter tag presents as like-new with original red string attached and the fold-out catalog brochure is very appealing with clean, crisp surfaces. This brochure features the first six of the baseball players issued by Hartland with Aaron, Mantle, Mathews, Ruth, Spahn and Williams along with western and famous gunfighter characters.
