Though they finished dead last in the AL, the 1955 Washington Senators got a measure of consolation with a glimpse at the future of the franchise’s greatest slugger. On June 24th of that year “bonus baby” Harmon Killebrew (d.2011) hit the first of his 573 career home runs. Take your best swing at this 1955 Senators team-signed baseball featuring (27) autographs including an early example of “The Killer”.
