The "Ruptured Duck" honorable discharge patch is said to have been donned by just 6 major leaguers on the Cubs and Yankees, including Peanuts Lowrey and Red Ruffing. But we have also seen it worn by two Brewers players—and perhaps others took part as well. Measuring 5-3/8 x 3-7/8", the offered example appears to be a subsequent Version 2 (1940s-1950s) rather than Version 1 (1940s), according to the duck's feet and the cheesecloth reverse. Bright EX condition with two spots of edge wear.
