Muhammad Ali’s death was one that absolutely resonated in the African-American community, as many remember him not only as the person who defeated Joe Frazier and George Foreman, but as someone who always stood for equality and justice. Ali is the subject of this Muhammad Ali Signed Simon Bull Original Oil Painting with an ("8") potency gold penning in the lower left corner. The 30x30 piece that shows the champion preparing for a left-right combination with white tape decorating his wrist and hand is framed to 39x39 dimensions and is entitled “Like a Butterfly XI”. The use of multiple colors and contours truly captures the movement of the champion, which is perhaps the reason for the title. The open-mouthed champion is seemingly grunting with the effort that he is putting into a potential setup to a knockout. This piece would have the potential to be the crown jewel of any boxing collection. Full photo LOA from JSA.
