Detailed description on our website.
Seekers of serious World Series mementos prepare to slug it out for this vintage period signed baseball. Representing one of just two Cleveland Indians teams to ever be crowned world champions, this select sphere is host to (25) autographs averaging (“5” to “7”) quality unless noted, including a whopping (7) HOFers with Paige, Boudreau, Doby, Feller, Gordon, Lemon and McKechnie. Other notables are: Bearden, Berardino, Black, Christopher and Zoldak. Full Photo LOA from JSA.
Though the factory stamps on this OAL/Harridge ball are quite faint, spacing between the “Cushioned Cork Center” line and the Reach logo is consistent with the 1948-1950 model. The accompanying LOA notes the “Era” as 1947-1953. This otherwise solid ball displays in desirable condition with fairly even light cream coloring, tight stitching, good reflectivity and some light soiling.
