Description

Pivotal plays were his trademark at the University of Notre Dame, and former offensive/defensive end Wayne Millner went on to a Hall of Fame NFL career in which he led the Washington Redskins to their first-ever title. The 1968 Canton-inductee is the subject of this lot of (8) 1930s-1940s Millner items. Includes: 1) Millner signed (“9”) index card (PSA/DNA Authentic); 2) (6) 1930s-1940s photographs (one later) in average VG condition with moderate creasing that for the most part does not affect the clarity and color (with one exception that has heavy creasing and multiple folds). Includes excellent “Old-Timers Reunion” photograph depicting multiple legends such as Kinard, Lavelli, McNally, Strong & Wojciechowicz and “Redskins teammates” photograph and 3) Washington Redskins maroon All-America sweater owned by Wayne Millner with a beautiful vintage Redskins logo on the left breast pocket and a “W” on the left sleeve.
