Ron Guidry's best season was clearly his amazing 1978 season, when the Yankee lefty went 25-3 with a 1.74 ERA and nine shutouts, easily winning the Cy Young Award. "Louisiana Lightning" is the subject of this 24x30 Ron Guidry Original Janice Kaufman Painting. The painting shows an almost claylike representation of the pitcher releasing a ball against a gray and black background. The print starts on the bottom with mound dirt and always has a blue wall in the back of the print beyond the peculiar lefty motion of Guidry.
