The 1957 World Series saw the Milwaukee Braves shock the New York Yankees in a seven game series behind the solid pitching of Lew Burdette. That series is the subject of that 15x22 Willard Mullin Original cartoon sketch. The piece shows the Braves with a "4" cup knocking over a Yankee with a "3" cup landing on his head. The numbers on the trophy cups are symbolic of the score in the series. The sketch is in approximate EX condition with only moderate peripheral wear.
