Hall of Famer Kirby Puckett was the heart and soul of the Minnesota Twins, who unbelievably won the World Series in both 1987 and 1991. Puckett had a penchant for using his incredible "ups" to make leaping catches on the warning track. This "Amazing Metrodome Catch" Bill Purdom Lithograph Lot of (125) shows one of those amazing efforts. The 29-5/8 x 21-5/8" print captures a Game 6 1991 grab by Puckett in the third inning. Later in the contest, Puckett hits a homer and forces game 6, moving the Twins one game closer to a championship (which they won behind Jack Morris in game 7).
Note: Although the specimen here shows some corner wear, the ones that the winning bidder will receive are professionally packed and presumably free of significant wear.
