Description

Turkey Stearnes, primarily known as a Hall of Fame centerfielder for the Detroit Stars, was a respected slugger with an odd batting stance. Stearnes is the subject of this Turkey Stearnes Cut Signature display. The display contains a Perez-Steele postcard above an index card with an (“8”) potency penning with inscription Centerfielder of the Kansas City Monarchs from 1939 to 1941 the year I retired from the game. Stearns is one of the toughest Hall of Fame signatures to locate; Full photo LOA from JSA. More on website
