Detailed description on our website.
The region surrounding Ohio’s fourth largest city Toledo served up this bumper crop of vintage multi-signed baseballs. Hundreds of signatures of players who no doubt performed for the love of the game decorate (15) assorted balls with quality ranging from very bold to barely detectable, with the great majority readily distinguishable. These obscure orbs average (VG-EX to EX-MT) in condition with varying degrees of toning from minimal to heavy, with most at the moderate level. Factory stamps are predominantly Wilson Official League types, including examples from the American Association and the International League. (8) Of these baseballs appear to be from the 1920s-1930s, with the balance looking to be 1940s-1980s types. No authentication due to time/costs.
