U.S. Presidents and other bigwigs make their mark in this treasure chest lot of autographs and memorabilia. This significant collection of correspondence, ephemera and keepsakes carries great import with items issued from the 1940s-present. Top selections are the autographs of Harry Truman and Jimmy Carter. The list of included items is as follows:

 

1960s Harry Truman (d.1972) signed “Harry S. Truman Library” brochure (VG-EX) with (“9”) strength personalized autograph, full photo LOA from JSA

 

(3) Signed items with auction LOA from JSA: 11/22/76 Jimmy Carter signed (“9”) TLS (VG) with light staining that does not affect the signature; 11/17/78 Hubert H. Humphrey (d.1978) signed (“10”) TLS (VG-EX) with peripheral staining, presents better; c.2002 Carl McCall signed (“10”) and personalized 8x10 photo (NM)

 

(6) Facsimile Signature/Unsigned items: 1/20/45 Inauguration Ceremonies invitation (NM) “on White House grounds” from FDR’s fourth term, with original envelope; “From the Desk of Harry S. Truman” thank you letter with facsimile signature, shows EX details with deference to trimming, date unknown; 1/20/65 Lyndon B. Johnson/Hubert H. Humphrey inauguration ball invitation (EX) with embossed gold seal at top; 2000s George W. Bush RNC “thank you” photo (VG) with facsimile signature; (2) unsigned 1980s photos: 8x10 (NM), 5x7 (EX-MT)
