Detailed description on our website.
Something big started in Green Bay in 1959 when the community-owned football team hired head coach Vince Lombardi. During this coaching wizard’s 1959-1967 tenure, the Packers made the playoffs six times, winning five championships including Super Bowls I and II.
Nearly as tough as the 1960s Packers team, this lot of (3) scarce team photo pins is a true football memorabilia treasure. Each of these jumbo sized promoters features an identical team photo.
Titled “1961 Green Bay Packers”, the largest of the group is 6” diameter pin with a green background that shows fantastic NM details with deference to some small indentations visible when held at an angle, from a straight on view this striking example is bright and glossy with a sharp photograph.
The second is titled “Title Town U.S.A. World Champion Green Bay Packers”. This 4” diameter pin has a bright yellow background with bold green lettering and a distinct photo and also shows NM details, with just some light scattered soiling, for the most part located on the rim.
The third pin is the least of the trio, affected by moderate uneven discoloring. Still this 4" diameter, gold background piece is respectable, showing approximate VG-EX details with nice gloss and a solid photo.
