Description

Everett Scott was a solid ball player and fielder who played mostly for the Red Sox and Yankees in his 13-year career. Scott (d.1960) set the standard for consecutive games played at 1,307 until he was surpassed by Lou Gehrig and then Cal Ripken. Scott is the subject of this 2012 Historic Autographs Champions card. The keepsake is encapsulated and graded Mint 9 by PSA. The Champions subset allows collectors to access pennings from players from past World Series winners (in this case, the 1918 Red Sox). The card displays a cut extracted from what appears to be an album page.
