The 1916 World Series matched the 91-63 Boston Red Sox against the 94-60 Brooklyn Robins for baseball supremacy. The Red Sox made quick work of the Robins, defeating them 4-1 in the series. That series is the focal point of this World Series Brooklyn Robins vs. Boston Red Sox program. The publication presents in VG condition (cover missing) with age appropriate staining, creasing and spine wear. A 1916 Brooklyn Dodger team photograph is on the first included page and a Boston Red Sox team photograph from that year is also included. The scorecard is nicely filled out in pencil and seems to have documented game 4 of the 1916 showdown, which includes an excellent contest that saw Dutch Leonard (Red Sox) get the best of Rube Marquard (Robins) 6-2.
